A First for Eight

At last! After ten sessions of learning about depth, volume, perspective and colors, eight Muslim youth from Bucana, Isla Verde and Times Beach are now ready to put their paintings on sale in an exhibit. All Nations Christian Fellowship, a partner church, graciously offered their fellowship hall to be the venue for this momentous event. The exhibit will run from September 30 to October 1. We are thankful for Dadai Joaquin who patiently mentored these young painters. We are also grateful for the support and help of the team (Pascal, Mang & Bobby who drove the jeep; Sol, Kaye and Maimai who helped facilitate the workshop). Pray for the paintings to be sold and for these young artists to have a sense of achievement. Pray for our team as we seek to uphold these youth who have already expressed a desire to continue honing their craft.
