Habagat Relief in Photos
Though some needs have yet to be met (ie. medicines, mats and clothes), we praise God that 40 families whose homes were totally damaged by the monsoon waves and 108 families who were affected in one way or another (partially damaged or flooded homes) received packs containing rice, mongo beans, coffee, sugar, noodles and some canned goods on August 19. One lady remarked, "This is the first time my family has ever received any kind of help. Thank you very much!" Indeed, we thank you for being with us—in prayer and in giving—during our time of need.
The guys carried sacks of relief packs into Bucana...

...while the ladies sorted them inside the house of the Aquilan Family, the community leaders.

There was a long line of recepients who patiently waited for their turn.

Ka Isang Aquilan came up with a system that made the distribution smooth and orderly.

Happy faces at the end of the day can be seen from...
...the team...

...and the kids.
