More Habagat Relief Update

Thank you for praying, both for the communities and resources we need to provide relief assistance. There was approximately US$1,350 promised by different individual partners to help with the relief assistance. Food items have already been provided to 130 households in the communities that we serve. This would translate to about 650 individuals. The total donations would provide food items of around US$2/individual (or Php110). We normally estimate a week's amount of food per assisted individual.

We would like you to pray that the local government will be able to provide for building materials (as they did 5 years ago). Pray that red tape and corruption will give in to compassion so that funds allotted to building materials will indeed get to those in need. We are also thankful that the local community centre we have in Bucana was used to shelter some of those affected by the monsoon waves.
