Taytayan On Line Gallery: Waiting for Buyers

Below are the paintings that are on exhibit. Many are still waiting to be bought. If you are interested in purchasing a piece (Php 1,500 or about US$30), please don't hesitate to leave me a note at grace@taytayan.org or an SMS at 0906-3116598. Half of the proceeds will go to the young artists so they can pursue their art while the other half would go back to MUPT so that we can put together another art workshop and exhibit next year.

The subject of the paintings are things and scenes from their communities. In fact, halfway through the workshop, giant monsoon waves hit Bucana and Isla Verde leaving two of our participants homeless. Quite a number of the themes of the paintings show the effects of the waves to the communities.
