Back from Manila

We are amazed at how God provides! You may be wondering how we can go back and forth to Manila in just a matter of months. To that, we can humbly say that it’s all God’s generosity at work.
God blessed us with the opportunity to be with Grace’s mother’s relatives for a grand New Year reunion. For the first time, every member of the Magsino clan was present, from the oldest to the youngest to celebrate the coming of God’s favor this year. The highlight of the event was the prayer time that ended exactly at midnight with firecrackers setting of a very jubilant ambiance.
Grace was able to spend a few days to work on her graduate thesis at the University of the Philippines. She met up with her adviser and trained the teacher who will pilot test the English for Theological Studies manuals she wrote as part of her research.
Lian Ed had his first ship ride when we took the Super Ferry 17 on our way back to Davao. Three days and two nights on the sea was enough to get us all rested. It was also quite an experience to be sailing together. As Lian Ed put it, “Wow! This is a nice boat!”

· Pray for our family to continue to serve God faithfully.
· Pray for Grace as she completes her thesis this year. Pray for provisions for three trips to Manila she needs to make to conduct class observations and do the final defense.
